Tad and his crew at Mohr Drilling were amazing, professional, trustworthy, and extremely fair in pricing. He has been generous with his time and energy, continuing to give us insight, direction and connecting us to reputable businesses’ in the area.
We had just purchased 16+ acres of bare land on Newton Creek Road. Our plan was simple enough; get an address, punch in a road, septic, electric, water, and ultimately to build a barndominium; not necessarily in that order. Days turned to weeks and weeks into months; as calls to contractors went unanswered, appointments made were missed, texts and emails flew into cyberspace never to be heard from again and the little work we were able to secure–a road–turned out to be disastrous, due to the absence of road felt and hence our truck sank. At one of our favorite watering holes, it was suggested that we call Mohr Drilling; the suggestion was met with hearty agreement from the bar, and we decided to give it a go.
A time was set and Tad not only showed up; but was 10 minutes early. And then he did magic–he witched for water. It was so cool. He found the spot in our 16+ acres, which was located where there was no road, not even the soft, mushy one. Fortunately, we had been in touch with Kyle Schartz from ZT Rahcs Excavation to fix the previous road and he and Tad have worked together often. They put their expertise together and came up with a solution. Kyle put in a new road for the drilling rig; which is the road we have used since (sans sinking truck). Tad brought crew and equipment to the exact spot he witched and within ½ a day had struck water–25 gallons of water per minute to be exact.
Our call to Mohr Drilling has turned out to be the best call we have made in our six months. I almost wish we could get another well.
